Can you swap from one guide point to another during a call?

Yes, you can. You can select another code at any time during a call, and that takes you to the new guide point.

How are calls charged?

The tourist/the person making the call pays for the call at the normal call rate. Therefore, nothing is charged for the call. One person or a thousand people can call, it makes no difference to the cost.

How do I make a professional sound recording?

We can help you to make a professional recording. Get in touch with us for an exact price list. Otherwise, we can recommend a company for you. There are often local contacts who can help out. We are happy to assist with tips and ideas.

How do I record my own guide?

You can book either us or a separate company (a sound recording studio) and a guide/actor who can record the audio for you. This is preferable when it comes to achieving the best quality in terms of content, recording method and sound quality. But you can also record direct via telephone.

How do I test the service?

Just send us a mail and we can set up a test account free of charge.

How long can the guides be?

Technically, there is no limit. However, a guide should take no more than 3-4 minutes. 2 to 3 minutes is about the right length.

If I want all my guide points to be in two languages, how do I do that?

If you want multiple languages for one and the same location, you can use several guide points, one code per language. All messages during the call, apart from the welcome message, will then have their own audio files, i.e. in a separate language.

Is it possible to make calls 24 hours a day?

Yes, the service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

What audio format should be used for the guide files?

The files have to be in MP3 format, like ordinary music files. E.g. 128 Kbps, 44100 Hz. You record the files at a recording studio, for example, and then you upload the files to the system. When you upload audio files to the system, they will then be converted to 8000 Hz (telephone audio format).

What do I need to get started?

First and foremost, one or more interesting places to provide information on, of course. Then you need a good information text and someone who can be recorded reading the text nicely. If you do not have anyone who can read it out for you, we can help out with that if necessary.

A guide point is a place; e.g. a statue or something similar. In other words, it's a specific place
